Just remade, this is one of the best items from Howie Schwarzman's Limited Edition line.

The props are simple. A coffee mug, a shoelace and a handkerchief.
The shoelace is threaded through the handle of the coffee mug. The mug and lace are covered with a handkerchief. The ends of the lace are threaded through a hole in the hankie.
The ends of the lace are handed to a spectator to hold. The spectator tugs on the shoelace to make sure it is firmly attached to the mug.

A little magic, and the shoelace seems to melt right through the handle of the mug!!
Everything may be handed for immediate examination! The hankie, shoelace and mug are all clean as a whistle!! Yet, the entire effect is mechanical and virtually self working!!

Fire & Ice

Magician displays six Poker Chips, three of which are red on both sides and three of which are silver on both sides. The chips are mixed red and silver in each hand, but magically separate, so that all the Red Chips come together, and all the Silver Chips come together.

This is repeated a number of times, first using six chips, and then only four chips, to make it easier to follow. Finally you offer an explanation of how the magic happens, the Red Chips have the magical property of apparently penetrating the hand. A Red and Silver Chip are placed on top of the hand, and rubbed and the Red Chip magically penetrates right through the hand.

FAZER BEAM

This fantastic utility prop is a must for all Close-Up Magicians. The FAZER BEAM is a pocket flashlight, which is innocent enough (it may be examined). However, whenever the performer wishes it would LIGHT UP BY ITSELF to indicate a chosen card, a yes or no answer, etc.

It can be placed in the center of a handkerchief which is held by the corners, and yet it will still light up inside the handkerchief! It can be passed over cards lying on a table and it will light up when it arrives at the chosen card. A truly uncanny prop!

Even once you know the secret you will still be delighted with the clever principle employed to light the FAZER BEAM. Don’t pass up on this one!

THE GEMINI RING

The Gemini Ring is a clever twist on the Jardine Ellis Ring. Anything that can be performed with an Ellis Ring can be performed with the Gemini Ring, and more. The 1¼" ring is precision machined in black plastic, and looks striking against the red rope that is supplied. The plastic also makes for nearly silent, scratch-free use. The ring is also designed to be perfect for ‘ring off rope’ effects. These effects can be performed with the ‘gimmick’ in place. In fact, the ring can be flipped in the air like a coin, and the gimmick and ring stay together. Whenever desired, the gimmick can be employed to achieve impossible effects!

Effects include Ellis Ring standards like Ring Off Rope and Ring Off Wand, plus Chuck Leach’s multi-phase routine: Get Loopy: A black wedding band (insert wife joke here), is on your ring finger. You show both sides of your hand and the ring appears to be tight on your finger. The rope is threaded through the ring and when you give the rope a tug, it comes off the finger! It also triples in size! (The ring, not your finger).

Next are several phases where the ring comes off the rope under impossible conditions! (The second escape will fry ‘em.) In the next phase, the ring is openly removed from the rope and placed in a pocket. The center of the rope is placed in the pocket and when pulled out, the ring is back on the rope! Finally, the ring vanishes from the rope and appears back on your finger (and it has shrunk back to its normal size). There is no end to the possibilities with this clever apparatus.
