 THE
MENDOZA SERIES OF PERSONAL INSTRUCTIONS
H.A.M.
(Harris-Ackerman-Mendoza)
Fantastic
change-transposition routine with a kicker finish. Combines the ideas of
the three men mentioned above. The four Queens slowly change to three
Aces, then the fourth Queen changes while untouched by the magician and
the Queens reappear in a startling manner. The fourth Queen is found in
the card case, which is visible on the table at all times.
A READING
The ultimate in
coincidence effects wherein the spectator himself, without the magician
touching the cards, finds the four Aces by dealing four piles and
dealing out one card from each pile whenever he chooses. He then locates
the Jacks, Queens and Kings completely!
A MINOR TRIUMPH
TRIUMPH done with only
nine cards. One card is selected and then returned to the packet. The
cards are slowly and deliberately alternated face up and face down. Now
with no moves, whatsoever, the packet is spread and all the cards are
seen to face the same way except the selected card. No gimmick cards are
used.
MULTIPLE SPELLBOUND
Not for the beginners.
Four half dollars transpose from hand to hand and then are "rolled
down" in the left hand between the fingers. In this display, each
is merely stroked with the right hand and changes to copper until all
four displayed coins are now !!! Then they change back to silver half
dollars and are tossed for examination. Skill and practice required.
MILLER(?) WILD CARD
No hand version of Wild
Card, in that, there appears to be no moves, yet four cards visibly
change to the wild card and the remaining four change while all eyes
literally burn the deck. This is new, never before in print. Requires a
set of "Wild Cards" and one matching card.
NELSON'S DRUNKEN SHUFFLE
If you double undercut,
you can do this effect. Deck is shuffled, face up and face down and
shown really mixed. Magician then cuts an Ace. He repeats the second Ace
in slow motion then cuts the third Ace face up. Finally, on the last Ace
he asks someone to name a card. Before he can even finish naming the
card, the magician cuts the pack and the named card is staring the
audience in the face. That card is used as an indicator and its value
counted down, the final Ace is found at that number! The deck is turned
over and all the cards are righted. No turnovers or sleights to correct
the deck. GREAT! EASY TO DO!
All the above material
is 100% audience tested before magicians and, more importantly the
paying public. THE MENDOZA SERIES OF PERSONAL INSTRUCTION was first
issued in individual lessons. Many paid the full price of $24.50. In the
new spiral bound form you save $$$$$. NOW - the complete series,
beautifully spiral bound in soft cover. 8½" x ll". 63 clear
photographs. Professionally typeset and printed. A GREAT VALUE!!
