Cups & Balls
Cups and Balls has been around for thousands of years. It is one of
the oldest magic routines know to anyone. Sometimes used as a find
the ball routine ala Three Shell Game but always a great mystery to
the onlookers.
The Cups are shown empty and then balls appear, vanish and multiply.
TheCups are shown empty and then seconds later there are Balls under
them. The Balls are caused to penetrate through the Cups and for the
finalé the Balls change into an entirely different object, (lemons,
oranges etc.).
No doubt all who have an interest in magic have at one time or will
look into using the Cups and Balls in their act. We are now
producing a new set of Cups and Balls which will be for use in a
Close Up Session as well as a
Parlor or Nite Club Show and even on Stage.
The size of the Cups are 5½" High and 3½" Diameter at the mouth. The
perfect set for any and all performance settings.
This set comes complete with Three Cups (spun aluminum and a
terrific satin
finish), carrying bag, which can double as a working surface, and a
set of
1 1/2" balls, ready to use in your favorite routine!
ROSINI
CARD TRANSPOSITION TRAY
A beautiful brass tray is displayed. The magician takes a deck of
cards and asks a spectator to count ten cards onto the tray. The
cards are then poured from the tray into a cloth carrying bag and
the bag is given to the spectator to hold. Another spectator counts
ten cards onto the tray when this is done three cards are displayed
to the audience and written down or simply remembered by a member of
the audience. The cards are given to someone to hold securely
between their hands.
The two spectators are on stage a distance apart.
The magician commands three cards to travel invisibly from the
spectator’s hands to the carry bag across the stage.
The cards are now counted by the spectator
holding them between the hands and now only has seven cards!!
The cards are removed from the carrying bag and it now contains
thirteen cards!! The additional three cards are the ones being
remembered by the audience member!!! This is a reputation maker.

INDIAN CUPS AND BALLS
THE EFFECT: (AS IT APPEARED IN
GENII MAGAZINE)
The performer places a small
carpet on the floor and displays three small brass cups. Three balls are also
shown and placed under the cups. Several remarkable things now happen the balls
appear to jump from one cup to the another they seem to pass invisibly through
the air and appear under the cups. Finally they multiply, increase in size,
until they seem to be too large to fit the cups. There is action from start to
finish.
